"Universities, Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Development in Africa"

Due to the COVID Pandemie, traveling is often challenging and affected the way we communicate, relate and network. As a response to the new situation, the UEED Africa Conference is going digital and intends to leverage digital tools to enable the exchange between industry and academia.

UEED Africa conference was initiated in 2012 and is organized by Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences.

UEED Africa provides a unique platform in Germany, allowing the exchange among businesses and between industry and academia from Europe and Africa.

The conference highlights the issues entrepreneurship and Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) in Africa, market entry and market development in Africa, international business between Germany and Africa, as well as enterprise development and the training and recruitment of qualified personnel.

UEED Africa 2021 Conference will be hosted online.The conference schedule will be communicated in the coming weeks.

Past Conferences

The UEED in Africa conference creates an opportunity for academia, industry and policy makers to network and discuss burning topics. In the past, hosting of the conference has alternated between Germany, Ghana and Kenya.
